Meols Hall Wedding Photographs – Helen & Tom

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of photographing Helen and Tom’s beautiful wedding at Meols Hall in Southport:-)

I spent the morning with Helen as she got ready with her bridesmaids and parents, first at her parent’s house in Liverpool, then at the Midland Hotel in Southport just a few minutes away from Meols Hall. You could feel the excitement building as the ceremony time got nearer – I love that time on a wedding day!

The whole day went perfectly and it was a pleasure to be able to capture all the emotion and excitement for Helen and Tom. This was actually the first time I had shot a wedding at Meols Hall and I loved it, it is a fantastic venue. There is just so much scope for photographs there – from Tithe Barn where the wedding ceremony took place to all the beautiful grounds surrounding the Hall itself – I certainly hope I get to work there again!

To Helen & Tom – thank you so much again for asking me to be your wedding photographer. You made me feel so welcome on the day and I am so pleased you are so happy with your photographs. I wish you both all the very best for your future together:-)

Here are a selection of my favourite photographs from your wedding day:

Martin Hambleton - Among the usual rock solid set of images, my two favourites are the black and white of the ceremony reading (outstanding composition) and the couple’s entrance to the wedding breakfast – a perfect capture of the moment allied to incredible light. Knockout, both!

Adam Johnson - Superb set of images Neil, I love the ones as Helen walks into the ceremony with Tom refusing to look, and then her mum dabbing tears away… Cool silhouette in the geting ready shots, and lovely portraits in the bluebells. Just looks like a really happy, fun day too. Great work!

Libby - I LOVE these shots. I bet the bride and groom are sooo happy with. I love the serious groom standing infront of his serious ushers – looks fantastic. Looks like a really happy day and a very happy bride and groom and you capture it perfectly.
