What a fantastic wedding this was! A beautiful bride and groom, smiling happy guests, fantastic venue and great weather. It was another of those days when I have to remind myself just how lucky I am to do the job I do and witness such happy and emotional occasions.
Catriona and Paul got married at the beautiful St Luke’s Church in Salford, I will remember their wedding ceremony for a long time, not only because it was such a lovely occasion full of smiles and emotion but also because I think it will be the only wedding ceremony I will ever photograph where the bride and groom are given Manchester United scarves to wear! Father John is a huge United fan and he made it such a fun and happy ceremony![]()
After the wedding ceremony we set off to the stunning Mitton Hall near Clitheroe in Lancashire – one of my favourite wedding venues. I feel so at home there and weddings there are always brilliant, needless to say Catriona & Paul’s wedding was exactly the same.
To Catriona & Paul – thank you so much again for asking me to be your wedding photographer. From first meeting you, to your pre-wedding shoot, to your wedding, it has been a pleasure getting to know you both and I am so pleased you had such a brilliant wedding day. I wish you both all the luck in the world for your future together, I know it will be a very long and happy one![]()
Here are a selection of my favourite photographs from your wedding:

Jillian Hartley - Beautiful photographs! Just love the emotion you capture, so natural!
Martin Hambleton - I just love those black and white portraits of the bride at home. Absolute knockout.
