More images from new Canon PowerShot G10 camera

It’s been a beautiful summer evening tonight so I went for a walk tonight in Dunham, Cheshire (a few miles south of Manchester) and tested out the Canon G10 again.  Even though I have only had it for a couple of days I am really pleased and impressed with it.  The image quality is excellent and I love being able to shoot in RAW.  The images below were all taken in RAW and processed in Adobe Lightroom using a number of my presets.

Roger Tyas - Hi Neil,
Great photographs from the G10 … although my main kit is Nikon based, inc. Fuji S5 & S3 Pro cameras, I’ve been quite actively searching the reviews on the Canon G10 and I’m liking what I see. It seems that there are reservations about it’s performance in low light / high ISO conditions, but you have to put that into context and not expect it to be a DSLR.
Take a look at this awesome review that I came across yesterday :-

It really is quite a quality piece of kit as far as results go and it far exceeds the competition as I recall excelent colours even from an early 4mega pxl Ixus400 which I passed to my son 3/4 years ago.
I had a request to join your facebook page, maybe from Pat Bloomfield, in case you were wondering where I’d appeared from.
I had viewed your wedding blog link as invited … Superb selection of images from Natalie & Eddie’s wedding in equally a most desirable setting … congratulations and well taken.

Kind regards,

Roger Tyas
