Where to start with a wedding as special and amazing as this one?! Firstly, the bride and groom Laura and Stuart are great friends of mine and one of the nicest couples you could ever meet. On top of that Laura also happens to be one of the very very best wedding florists in the whole region (just have a look at her website to see how amazing she is! www.laurelweddings.com) and on top of that again, there were a whole lot of my wedding photographer friends coming along to the wedding! Put all this together and you have an amazingly fun and brilliant day, with just a little bit of pressure thrown in to the mix too…!

Knowing Laura and Stu as I do I knew that their wedding was going to be brilliant and that is exactly what it was. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph lots of my friends getting married and it’s always a really special thing – to see your friends so happy and to be able to capture it all for them is really an honour.

Laura (who looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful dress from the fantastic Pearl Bridal Boutique in Sale) and Stu got married at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sale and had their reception at the fantastic Shaw Hill Golf Club in Lancashire. Both are brilliant wedding venues 🙂

The day was also great for me as another of my lovely friends, the fantastic and amazingly talented wedding photographer Hannah Dornford-May was shooting the wedding with me and the brilliant superstar DJ Gary Mills did an amazing job of getting everybody on the dancefloor and going crazy!

To Laura and Stuart – thank you so much again for asking me to be your wedding photographer 🙂 It was an honour to be asked to photograph your amazing day and I am so pleased that you both had such an incredible day. You are the perfect couple and I know you will have a very long and very happy future together – looking forward to seeing you again soon! x
