Wow, what can I say about Vanessa & Michael’s vintage wedding at The Barlow Institute in Edgworth, Lancashire?! Vanessa and Michael had worked extremely hard to make their day the unique, fun filled, vintage theme wedding which they wanted, and what a fantastic day it was!
Vanessa & Michaels’s vintage wedding theme was apparent throughout; the from the design of the Order of Services and traditional lemonade at the ceremony, through to the tea-cups and never-ending bunting which decorated the Barlow Institute (courtesy of the hard work and patience of Vanessa’s mother!). The reception venue itself really complimented the theme and looked amazing.
Vanessa and Michael took it in turns to travel to the wedding ceremony at the beautiful St Anne’s Church in Chapeltown in their own special wedding bus – how cool is that?! 🙂 St Anne’s is a stunning church, set back in it’s own grounds, high in the hills of Lancashire. It was a pleasure to take wedding photographs there. After the wedding ceremony, Vanessa & Michael, and all their guests, boarded their wedding bus again to travel to their reception at The Barlow Institute.
The wedding reception started with a live band and traditional irish céilí dancing, a great way to get the party started – and a great opportunity for wedding photographs!
Vanessa & Michael – I am so pleased you had such a special day, and it was a privilege to be part of it. It was a pleasure working with you both and I am really pleased you are so happy with your wedding photographs. I wish you both a very long and happy marriage together 🙂
