Wedding photography is such an amazing job. Not just because it means allows me to do what I love for a living, but also because I am lucky enough to be present at the most special days of couple’s lives – Becky and Stephen’s wedding was one of those days that reminded me of just how lucky I am.

Becky and Stephen got married at Becky’s parent’s house, an absolutely beautiful house set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.  Becky’s parents had put so much effort in to making the house and gardens look spectacular for their daughter’s wedding, and wow, did it look spectacular! This may not have been a usual wedding venue but it easily could be, it was just perfect.

I spent the morning with Becky as she was getting ready before going to meet Stephen in the pub – the excitement everywhere was amazing! The whole day went absolutely perfectly, there were so many personal touches everywhere and it was a privilege to be there to capture it for Becky & Stephen.

I would like to make a special mention and thank you to Becky’s incredibly lovely and extremely helpful wedding planner, Andrea, from www.fabulousday.co.uk. Andrea made sure I knew everything I needed to know about the wedding day (including the surprise fly over – wow!!!) and was always on hand to help me throughout the day. The whole day ran like clockwork due to Andrea’s planning. This was the first time I had worked with Andrea and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any couple, she was brilliant and I know that Becky & Stephen feel exactly the same. I would also Jonathan Yearsley who assisted me on the day and was a great help.

Finally, a huge thank you to Becky and Stephen for asking me to photograph your wedding day. I loved working with you both and I am so pleased you are both so happy with your photographs.  Thank you also for making me feel so welcome on the day, I felt more like a friend than a wedding supplier.  I wish you both a very long and very happy marriage together x

This moment, showing Stephen’s Best Man showing a ‘special’ photograph of Stephen from his stag do was one of the funniest moments I have seen at a wedding, but I have blurred the image to protect the (not so) innocent 😉
