A couple of months ago I travelled down to Kent to photograph Gemma & Adam’s beautiful wedding at the Commissioner’s House in The Historic Dockyard in Chatham.
Kent is much further afield than I usually travel for weddings, but I really enjoyed it, I drove down the day before, had a look around the venues and stayed over in Kent the night before the wedding. It was like a little adventure 🙂
I started the day with Gemma and her bridesmaids at the hairdressers before going to Gemma & Adam’s house, where Gemma finished getting ready (she looked stunning in her dress). It was then on to the St Peter & St Paul Church in Aylesford, where I met up with Adam (looking very smart!) and his groomsmen. After the wedding ceremony I took some some photographs of Gemma & Adam nearby to the church, before heading off to The Historic Dockyard in Chatham for the wedding reception at the Commissioner’s House.
The Commissioner’s House itself is a fantastic wedding venue, steeped in history – it’s even said to be one of the country’s most haunted buildings… the whole wedding day ran perfectly and everybody had an amazing time – a testament to the planning Gemma & Adam had put in to their day.
To Gemma & Adam – Thank you once again for asking me to be your wedding photographer. It was a fantastic day and it was a privilege to be a part of it – I am very pleased that you are both so happy with your wedding photographs. You are a brilliant couple and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together 🙂
Here are a selection of my favourite wedding photographs from your big day:

Amazing Neil – absolutely love the shot of bride’s veil blowing in the wind next to church and the sunset shots are absolutely sublime.
Great set of wedding images, looks like a really fun day. The B+W processing is beautiful.
Love these Neil! Beautiful sunset shots, but my favourite has to be the harpist in church with the best man wondering what on earth you are doing crouching down there 😉 brilliant documentary shot.
As usual, a wonderful set of images. The bride and groom must be very pleased.
Wow Neil, stunning images. I am sure the bride and groom are delighted. Pleased to see some trademark moody skies in there too!
