Last month I had the honour of photographing Jo & Richard’s amazing wedding at the Great John Street Hotel in Manchester, and wow, what a day it was!
Jo and Richard’s wedding was one of those days where everything went absolutely perfectly, a testament to all the thought and planning that they had put in to their day. Even the weather couldn’t have been any better, with the sun shining almost all day 🙂
I had been looking forward to this wedding for a long time, not only because Jo & Richard are one of the most friendly and welcoming couples I have ever met, but also because this was the first time I had photographed a wedding at Great John Street Hotel. It is a fabulous and very popular venue, located right in the middle of Manchester. As well as having a very cool and stylish interior, Great John Street also has a roof terrace which overlooks half of Manchester – including Coronation Street! Jo and Richard had a barbeque on the roof terrace, and with the sun setting over Manchester, it was just perfect.
It was also great to see my friends Suzann & Mark again, whose wedding I photographed last year at Manchester Town Hall, at Jo & Richard’s wedding!
To Jo & Richard – thank you very much again for asking me to be your wedding photographer. I really enjoyed working with you both and I am really pleased that you are both so happy with your photographs. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together 🙂
