Last month I had the great pleasure of photographing the amazing wedding of Collette & Oliver at St Wilfrids Church in Mobberley and The Mere Court Hotel in Knutsford – and what a fantastic day it was!
Collette is a friend of mine so I had been looking forward to her wedding for a long time and it was everything I thought it would be – happy, emotional and a lot of fun, the perfect wedding day š
Collette & Oliver got married at St Wilfrid’s Church in Mobberley, a beautiful church just near Knutsford in Cheshire.Ā This was the first wedding I had photographed there but I hope it won’t be the last as it is very photogenic.Ā After the ceremony, and in brilliant sunshine, we made our way to The Mere Court Hotel for the wedding reception.Ā Collette, who looked amazing in her dress, had put in so many special touches to her day which made the day extra special and personal, from the wedding car, to an amazing tenor singer, to Collette’s sister Kara singing a song to Collette & Oliver just after their first dance.Ā It really was an incredible day.Ā I should also make a special mention to Oliver’s two best men, Josh & Ben, who between them came up with one of the funniest Best Man speeches I have ever heard!
I also loved this wedding as I got to work with my good friend Tom from Silk Wedding Films.
To Collette & Oliver – thank you very much again for asking me to photograph your wedding – I am so pleased you had such a fantastic day and are so happy with your wedding photographs.Ā I will remember your wedding day for a very long time šĀ I can’t wait to start working on your wedding album now! I wish you both all the luck in the world for your future together.
Here are a selection of my favourite photographs from your wedding day:Ā

Neil, please stop setting the bar so high would you? You’re making the rest of us look bad.
Great work Neil, especially love the one of the groom waiting in the church as the bride arrived at the back fantastic reportage. Did I spot a sneaky helicopter in there?
Fantastic series of emotion brought to life from your camera.
Yayyy!!! I’ve been dying to see these Neil. They’re so beautiful and full of emotion, I love them! Collette must be so pleased with them… and for you to have arranged a helicopter for them both like that was just above and beyond. š Well done good sir! Tom x
Neil we are so THRILLED with our wedding photos. Thank you for capturing our day so perfectly and allowing us to re-live it through your amazing pictures.
