Beautiful summer wedding at Merrydale Manor in Cheshire

If you look up the words “perfect day” in the dictionary I am pretty sure you will see a photograph of Francesca and Andy’s face smiling back at you, because their wedding at Merrydale Manor, one of the best venues in Cheshire, was exactly that. It was an honour to be a part of such a beautiful day.

Francesca and Andy really are one of the nicest couples you could meet. So incredibly kind and genuine and it is obvious what they think of each other – during the speeches especially the feeling of love in the room was overwhelming! I couldn’t have been happier for them both that they had such an amazing day. Everything was brilliant, from all the getting ready photographs in the morning all the way through to the epic dancing in the evening. The sun also didn’t stop shining for them at any point either – which is nothing less than they deserved.

This was the first wedding I have photographed at the exclusive Merrydale Manor, a luxury event and wedding venue in Over Peover in Cheshire. But I hope I am able to work there many more times in the future because it is an absolutely beautiful location to tie the knot. It is a relatively new venue, having only opened in July 2017 but it is already extremely popular. It is located in acres of beautiful countryside, just by the side of it’s sister wedding venue, Colshaw Hall.

Just like Colshaw Hall, the Merrydale Manor country estate is exclusive, meaning that bride and grooms who get married here have the entire estate to themselves – something which I think is really important and special. Couples getting married here have their ceremony in a beautiful bespoke wooden building, which overlooks a lake, before moving on to the gardens and the awesome purpose built Merrydale Suite and Bar for the rest of the day.

The parkland around Merrydale is absolute perfect for photography – I especially loved the lake with woods behind it, it is extremely photogenic.

Another massive bonus of this day was working with my friend and genius filmmaker Tom Harrington (check out his work – incredible!) and the always brilliant Stefan aka The Tall Toastmaster.

All in all an absolutely incredible day. Here are just a few of my favourite photographs from my first wedding at Merrydale Manor:
