In November last year I had the pleasure of cover the Gill and Paul’s beautiful Lancashire wedding photography at Mitton Hall 🙂
I started the day at Gill’s parents house where Gill and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Gill looked absolutely stunning in her dress and Gill and Paul’s daughter, Emily, looked like a princess!
I then moved on to Mitton Hall for some photographs of Paul and his groomsmen. I have covered weddings at Mitton Hall before, but each time I go back I am more impressed with it as a wedding venue. It has the luxury of having a beautiful interior, as well as fantastic gardens, and the staff there are amongst the most friendly and helpful I have ever worked with – something which really can’t be underestimated on a wedding day.
The weather wasn’t always kind to us and we took most of the wedding photographs indoors, but Gill and Paul did brave the cold weather long enough for us to get some shots outside after the wedding ceremony, which I was especially pleased about as a couple of the shots we took at this point are amongst my favourites from 2010!
I would also like to give a mention to the fantastic Leos Quartet, who played beautifully throughout the day. I am friends with the quartet but they never fail to amaze me whenever I am lucky enough to cover a wedding at which they playing, they are extremely talented and I can’t recommend them highly enough 🙂
To Gill & Paul – thank you very much again for asking me to photograph your wedding at Mitton Hall. It was a pleasure working with you and I am so pleased that you had such a fantastic day. I wish you both (and Emily) all the very best for your future 🙂
Here are a selection of my favourite wedding photographs from your day:
