My second wedding of 2011 saw me traveling up from Manchester to the hills of Lancashire for Leanne & Paul’s fun-filled wedding at Mitton Hall – and wow, what a day it was!

Leanne & Paul are one of the nicest couples you could ever wish to meet so I was so pleased for them that they had such an amazing wedding day. The weather literally couldn’t have been any better (the sun didn’t stop shining all day) and the whole wedding day went perfectly.

Leanne had hired a beautiful cottage, only a couple of miles away from Mitton Hall, for herself and close family and friends to get ready in – and it was here that I started the day. I then went to Mitton Hall for some shots of Paul and his Best Men, before going back to the cottage for some final photographs of Leanne before she herself headed to Mitton Hall. From that point onwards it was just smiles and laughter all the way – what more could a wedding photographer ask for? 🙂

Mitton Hall is a fantastic wedding venue, one of those venues that has the luxury of having beautiful grounds but also lots of photogenic areas inside as well. I would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Mitton Hall (especially Dave) for always being so considerate and helpful when it comes to the running of the day. The staff there work tirelessly on the wedding day, and Dave asked me a few times whether there was anything he could do to help me on the day – just fantastic.

To Leanne & Paul – thank you again for asking me to take your wedding photographs, I am so pleased you are both so happy with your images. It was an absolute pleasure working with you both and I wish you both a very long and very happy marriage together 🙂

Flippin’ eck Neil! Yet again you raise the bar. An incredible set of photos. My favourites are probably the one during the ceremony where they’re giving each other ‘the look’ and the portraits with the ivy… but I love them all. Good job!!

Neil… for me i think this is pretty perfect coverage. All the fun, emotion and of course a bit of romance with the bride and groom, they should be thrilled.
