What an amazing day! I loved taking Trish and Joel’s South Farm wedding photographs.
Especially as Trish and Joel are good friends of mine and my wife Michelle. This helped make it such a fun day 🙂
My weddings this year are seeing me travel all over the UK (and overseas) and this was another new venue for me. I hadn’t been to South Farm in Royston, Hertfordshire before but wow, what a beautiful venue. Set in amazing gardens (with peacocks and chickens wandering around!) it is a really stunning place. The lovely warm weather also meant that Trish and Joel could get married outside in the sunshine.
Summer wedding photographs at South Farm
The whole day was just brilliant and so laid back. It was a privilege to be able to capture it for Trish and Joel. Trish looked absolutely amazing in her beautiful dress and I’ve never seen Joel looking smarter. The whole day was perfect and literally couldn’t have gone any better.
I would also like to make a special mention to our lovely and multi-talented friend Julia. Not only was she a Bridesmaid (she has experience of this as she was also a Bridesmaid at my wedding!) but also did Trish’s make-up and made the wedding cake which was absolutely stunning! Well done Julia, you should be proud of yourself x
To Trish and Joel – thank you so much again for asking me to be your wedding photographer. It was an absolute pleasure to capture everything for you. I am so pleased that you had the perfect day. Knowing you both as I do I know that you are perfect for each other and will have a very long and happy marriage together. See you both soon! x
Here are a selection of my favourite South Farm wedding photographs from your special day:

The Redfern sunset portraits have been turned up another notch. However you’re lighting those midlength portraits is simply stunning.

Stunning photos, captured so beautifully and nicely, specially when the the bride enters and there is a eye contact between the two…love it.

oh wow Neil, these are amazing! what a beautiful place to get married and the weather looks amazing!
There’s an incredible sharpness in these images Neil, and I love the contrast you’ve achieved in both the bridal prep and first dance shots. Agree with Martin H re; the sunset images too, with the silhouette being my favourite! Fabulous image.
The outdoor ceremony looked great Neil! A rarity in this country of ours! 🙂
Absolutely beautiful photographs. I love the one with the wedding dress on the mirror, gorgeous symbolism of the quiet of the night before the wedding
