Just before New Year, I had the pleasure of photographing Lisa & Ben’s fantastic winter wedding at St Mary’s Church and The Crown Hotel in Nantwich, Cheshire.

Lisa & Ben’s wedding was just a few days days after Christmas so there was a double sense of excitement in the air!  I started the wedding day at Lisa & Ben’s house, where Lisa was getting ready along with her bridesmaids, before going to St Mary’s Church to take some photographs of Ben and his groomsmen (who, as you can see in the wedding photographs, were impressively calm at this point!).  I then headed back to Lisa’s house for a few final shots of Lisa just before she headed to the Church – as you will see, Lisa looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful wedding dress.

This was the first time I had covered a wedding at St Mary’s Church in Nantwich but it must be one of the most photographic churches I have been in. After the ceremony we all headed across the square to The Crown Hotel for the wedding reception.  Again, I hadn’t covered a wedding at the Crown Hotel in Nantwich before but it too was a fantastic wedding venue with lots of period features 🙂

To Lisa & Ben – thank you very much again for asking me to photograph your wedding. It was a pleasure working with you both and I am very happy you are both so pleased with your wedding photographs. Thank you also to your families for making me feel so welcome on the day. I hope you both have a very long and happy marriage – which I know you will 🙂
