Last month saw me heading to Lydia & Aidan’s fun-filled wedding at Willington Hall Hotel in Cheshire – and what an amazing day it was! 🙂

I had met up with Lydia & Aidan a few weeks before the wedding to take some pre-wedding photographs for them, so we had already built up a good rapport before the wedding, which was really nice.  They are a fantastic couple, although bizarrely, they had told me before the wedding that they don’t photograph well – I have to disagree with them however, I thought they were naturals in front of the camera!

I started the day at with Lydia as she got ready at home, there was a real sense of excitement in the air and I could tell it was going to be a brilliant day. I then headed over to the Church of Holy Ascension in Chester for some photographs of Aidan and his groomsmen before heading back to Lydia for a few final shots before the wedding ceremony.

The whole day went perfectly, we did have a bit of rain but not enough to put Lydia & Aidan off from staying outdoors for their group photographs!  The rain did stop after the speeches though and we took some bride & groom photographs outside which I am extremely pleased with 🙂

This was the first time I have covered a wedding at Willington Hall but I certainly hope I cover another wedding there soon though – it is a beautiful wedding venue, surrounded by endless fields – simply perfect for wedding photographs 🙂

To Lydia & Aidan – thank you very much again for asking me to be your wedding photographer. It was an honour to photograph your big day for you – I am so pleased you are so happy with your photographs. You are a fantastic couple and I wish you both a very long and happy marriage together.
