2013 – what a brilliant year 🙂

The year couldn’t have started any better for me as for the second year running I was named the BIPP North West Wedding Photographer of the Year, which is such a huge honour. There is fantastic competition for the award so I was so proud to retain the award. I was also pleased that I could actually attend the awards night this year as I missed it in 2012. It was a brilliant night, although I paid for it the next morning!

I shot so many brilliant weddings this year and I have been so lucky to work with so many amazing and lovely couples. I photographed weddings all over the country, in Scotland and Wales too and I had the amazing experience of photographing Olga and Tim’s amazing destination wedding day in Thessaloniki in Greece – what a brilliant experience and so much fun!!

It would take too long to thank of all of my bride and grooms individually but I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all the couples whose weddings I have been lucky enough to photograph this year – you have provided me with so many happy memories and helped me to take so many photographs which I am extremely proud of and I am so pleased that I can now call many of you friends. I can only shoot what is in front of me so thank you all for being so amazing!!

I am almost fully booked for next year already and have so many brilliant weddings to look forward to, so another big thank you to all the couples who have booked me to photograph their wedding next year – I already know that you will all help make 2014 another brilliant year!!

The wedding photography workshops which I run with my great friends Bee and Liam Crawley at CG Weddings have also been brilliant this year and everyone has been a full house so thank you also to all the photographers who have joined us for those (and for the talks we did for the MPA and BIPP too), I hope you all enjoyed them! We already have two more workshops planned for February.

2013 has also been brilliant on a personal note too as Michelle and I finally bought the house that we have been wanting to buy for a very long time. We’ve only been in for 3 months so far but we are absolutely loving it and are very very happy here 🙂

So, once again, to all the couples who I have photographed this year – and all those who have booked me to photograph their wedding next year – I would like to thank you again!

So here it is, a slideshow my favourite wedding photographs from 2013. I loved putting this together but it’s so frustrating not being able to include all those that I would have liked too. I delivered over 17,000 images to my bride and grooms this year and this slideshow contains less than 100!! Oh well, I hope you all enjoy it, 12 months work in under 5 minutes….
